Join us at the Arts for Learning Virginia Artoberfest Luncheon, where community leaders, arts advocates, educators, and supporters will gather to celebrate the transformative power of arts-in-education.

During this inspiring event, we will present the Heart of the Arts Award in honor of the enduring legacy of Minette Cooper to an outstanding Hampton Roads volunteer whose leadership, service, and dedication have helped the arts flourish throughout our region.

We are proud to honor Marie Baker as the inaugural recipient of the Heart of the Arts Award.

A devoted mentor, volunteer, and advocate, Marie has dedicated her life to education, community service, and the arts. Her unwavering commitment has inspired generations and exemplifies the transformative impact that passionate community leadership can have across Hampton Roads.

Enjoy a special performance by Teaching and Performing Artist and Norfolk’s acclaimed singer-songwriter Roberta Lea. You can also become part of the artistic experience by contributing to a collaborative art piece and trying your hand at one or more of our creative stations.
